Checking into the hospital--my water broke a couple of hours before this...
The most wonderful experience right after she was born. I got to hold her for the first time...and it was just me, Dave and baby Aliyah
Our new little family
Baby Aliyah (we originally were going to spell it Aliah...but we think (and hope) we like it with a "y" better--Dave says it's for the Cougars!) How do you like all that hair and all those cheeks!
We came home Christmas Eve...a pretty good present under the tree!
Christmas Day
It definitely was not expected to have her come 9 days early, but we are SO glad that she is here and healthy. We LOVE her!
Sarah she is adorable! Congrats! I'm so excited for you guys!
ReplyDeleteWow! She is one cute baby!!! I love her hair and her cheeks and I want to come over there and just snuggle her. I'm glad everything went well and that everyone is healthy and happy.
ReplyDeleteTwo questions:
1. Is that a stocking blanket?? Did the hospital give that to you? That is pretty cool.
2. Is that a baby trend carseat I'm seeing?? Now I'm interested to hear your opinion of it!
Oh my goodness! She's just so precious. I'm excited to meet her!
ReplyDeleteGavin came nine days early, too. I had so many things planned for those last nine days, but I certainly was happy to have that baby boy here! So excited for you--congrats!
ReplyDeleteSo grateful I got to hold her tonight -she's a doll!! It's perfect how somehow your own babies are the most beautiful- it's so meant to be that way (I felt and feel the same with all mine!!)
