{OUR FEELINGS ABOUT ADOPTION}
We have learned so much in the last little bit that has changed our lives and outlook forever. We are so excited to be adopting. We have learned a lot about adoption over the years and have recognized how powerful of a principle it is. It truly is a demonstration of complete love and selflessness, amid the grief and pain, that are being experienced on both sides of the aisle. Not only have we learned these things as we have studied and discussed adoption together, but also as we have seen the experiences of many dear friends and family who have also had the blessing of being able to adopt. We have seen in their lives how the children that have joined their families truly change everything--for the better. We don't know when, or how this will all work out, but we are so very excited to be adopting.

We love family and can't wait to add to ours. But we know we won't just be adding a baby. The relationships that we have with others are some of our greatest possessions. We are excited to develop new relationships that are stronger and deeper than friends. We know that we are going to cross paths and be forever linked as we move forward on this journey together! We look forward to establishing a relationship with you that can be meaningful for everyone involved.
We believe that God has a plan for His children. We believe that this child, and our child Aliyah, are ultimately His children and whatever way they may come into our family is a blessing and a gift from Him. We will love this child as our own. We know His plan is perfect and that He will always provide a way for His children to return to Him. We feel that adoption is one of the ways in which that blessing comes into the lives of some His children, and we are humbled to be a part of it.

I just stumbled across you blog but I want you to know there is hope. I am sitting on the other side of where you are but I have been there. I had two children and then many miscarriages followed by secondary infertility. In the end Heavenly Father blessed us with both successful IVF and successful adoptions through the foster care systems. We now have 6 amazing children!. (the oldest just started serving her full time mission! and the youngest is 7) There were times of excruciating pain but without those moments I'm not sure that I would have fully appreciated those moments of exquisite joy, like 4 years ago when our second to the youngest son was finally sealed to us. May God bless you on your journey. Please forgive my intrusion on your blog it just hit so close to home.
